Ignition Platform Mode v0.5.0
This release makes Platform Mode work for operators, the staff who run your fundraising without an administrator login. Operators can switch creator sign-ups and campaign moderation on or off, while who receives pledges stays with administrators. The campaign page in wp-admin now says when Offline is hidden because the creator has written no payment instructions. And a creator’s campaign count now splits into groups that always add up to the total.
New Features
Section titled “New Features”-
Platform Mode for operators — Operators can change Public Campaign Creation and Campaign Moderation under Ignition → Settings → Add-ons → Platform Mode. Who Receives Pledges stays administrator-only: operators don’t see it, and saving the page as an operator leaves it unchanged. Staff are never treated as front-end-only creators, even if they also hold the creator role. On the payment-method screens, the line saying who receives pledges links to Platform Mode settings for administrators only. The Edit user link on the Creators list and on a creator’s detail page appears only to people allowed to edit that user. See Settings.
-
See why Offline isn’t offered — A campaign whose creator has written no offline payment instructions still hides Offline at checkout. Now the campaign’s payment methods in wp-admin say why and name the creator. See Offline hides itself until a creator can be paid.
Improvements
Section titled “Improvements”-
The creator stats line adds up — The line under a creator’s total campaigns used to split them into active, successful, failed and outcome pending only. Paused, not-started and closed campaigns counted toward the total but appeared in no group. The line now covers active, paused, not started, outcome pending, successful, failed, closed with no outcome, and in test mode. It lists only groups with at least one campaign, and they always add up to the total. See A creator’s detail page.
-
“Staff” instead of “admin” — Moderation emails and settings now say staff, because operators approve and review too. The moderation setting reads Require approval before campaigns go live, and the staff email is named Campaign pending review (Staff).
-
Screen-reader column headers — On narrow screens, the campaign table on a creator’s detail page stacks its cells and hides the column headers. They were hidden from screen readers too. They are now kept for screen readers, so each cell is still announced with its column name.
Developer
Section titled “Developer”-
Operator settings — The add-on answers
igcf_operator_settingsfor its own option, openingallow_public_campaign_creationandrequire_campaign_approvalto operators. See Core money seams it answers. -
Offline unavailability reason — The add-on now explains Offline through
igcf_gateway_unavailable_reasons, with the reason codecreator_offline_instructions_missing. It no longer usesigcf_gateway_available_for_campaign. -
Staff are never creator-only —
igcf_platform_is_creator_only_usernow defaults tofalsefor anyone withigcf_staff, not justmanage_options. See the Platform Mode developer reference. -
More campaign groups in creator aggregates —
get_aggregates_for_user(), and the$aggregatespassed toigcf_platform_creator_stat_tiles, gainpaused_campaigns,not_started_campaigns,closed_no_outcome_campaigns,test_campaignsandother_campaigns. The group fields always add up tototal_campaigns. See Service methods.
Compatibility
Section titled “Compatibility”- Now requires Ignition Crowdfunding 0.23.0 — The operator settings and the reason Offline is hidden both use features that first ship in core 0.23.0. The add-on refuses to start on an older core and tells you to update.
