Ignition Crowdfunding v0.19.0

This release smooths several frontend rough edges — where the account card sends you, how the image-framing tool behaves on short screens, where the dashboard verification notice sits, and restoring a test campaign — and adds the gateway-capability groundwork that the Ignition PayPal Gateway’s new Platform mode builds on.

  • Checkout keeps what you typed — If a pledge submission is rejected for any reason, the review step now comes back with the email address and shipping details you already entered still filled in — previously only a missing required field preserved them.
  • Refund failure reason in wp-admin — When a refund fails, the pledge’s admin detail now shows the reason reported by the payment gateway, so a failed refund isn’t a silent dead-end. See Refunds.
  • Account card links to your dashboard — The “you are logged in” card on the account page now shows a single Go to your dashboard link for every signed-in user, instead of a “Start a Campaign” button that dead-ended for backers who can’t create campaigns. See Creating a Campaign.
  • Image framing on short screens — The Adjust framing tool now scales the image to fit the dialog on short viewports, so the whole image stays visible and draggable on smaller screens. See Creating a Campaign.
  • Verification notice placement — On the dashboard, the “verify your email” notice now spans the full width above the two-column layout instead of being squeezed into one column.
  • Test campaign restore — Restoring a test campaign from Trash now correctly returns it to the Test status. See Test Campaigns.
  • Gateway capability seam — Gateways can advertise named capabilities with Igcf_Payment_Gateway::supports(), and code can resolve them with Igcf_Payment_Gateway_Service::gateway_supports() and get_ids_supporting(). A dependent add-on queries a capability (such as platform_mode) rather than a gateway slug or version, so a future gateway advertising the same capability composes with no change to the consumer. See the Service Layer.
  • Refund failure-code registry — Igcf_Refund_Service::failure_codes() exposes a code => label registry, filterable via igcf_refund_failure_codes. Core ships it empty and gateway add-ons populate it, mirroring the payment-attempt failure codes; it powers the new admin refund-failure label. See the Service Layer and Filters Reference.
  • Pledge-context registration role — The frontend registration form now propagates the pledge context to the igcf_registration_role filter, so a visitor who registers while pledging is classified correctly — kept as a backer rather than becoming a creator on Platform Mode sites. See the Filters Reference.
