Ignition Platform Mode v0.2.0

Offline payment on a multi-creator platform had one shape: backers paid you, and you confirmed every transfer by hand in wp-admin. This release adds the other shape. Creators can publish their own payment details, take the money directly, and confirm it arrived from their own dashboard — with the platform never touching it.

  • Creators collect their own offline payments — A new Integration model setting under Ignition → Settings → Payments → Offline chooses who collects. Direct, the default, keeps today’s behaviour exactly: one set of payment instructions that you write, and you confirm receipt. Platform hands both to the creator. See Offline payments.

  • Per-creator payment instructions — In Platform mode each creator gets an Offline payments section in their dashboard’s Account area, where they write how a backer should pay them. Three placeholders — {amount}, {campaign_name} and {pledge_id} — are filled in per backer, so a creator can ask for a payment reference that ties the money back to a specific pledge. Backers see the instructions on the confirmation screen, in their confirmation email, and on the pledge in their dashboard. See Writing payment instructions.

  • One-tap “Mark payment received” — When the money arrives, the creator confirms it from their campaign’s pledges list. Everything that normally follows a successful payment follows this too: the backer’s payment-received email, the pledge moving to succeeded, and the campaign’s collected total updating. Only the campaign’s own creator sees the action; administrators keep the ability they already had. See Confirming a payment arrived.

  • Offline hides itself until a creator can be paid — A campaign whose creator has written no payment instructions no longer offers offline payment at checkout, because there is nothing useful to show a backer. A submission asking for it anyway is refused rather than quietly switched to another method. A pledge already made offline stays confirmable even if the creator later clears their instructions, so editing them never strands money in flight. See Offline hides itself until a creator can be paid.

  • Creator money tiles — igcf_platform_creator_stat_tiles lets an add-on that owns its own per-creator money dimension append tiles to a creator’s wp-admin detail view, beside Total Pledged, Total Received, Refunded and Canceled. Contributions are shape-checked and anything malformed is skipped, so a misbehaving listener costs you its own tile rather than the page. See the Platform Mode reference.
